Construction Schedule (June 2026)

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as work progresses throughout VERNOR'S ESTATES.

  • Please proceed through VERNOR'S ESTATES Construction Zone at a slow rate of speed. We have experienced traffic proceeding at a high rate of speed; remember that the construction crew has families, wives and children, to go home to every night.

  • You will have access to your driveways as work progresses with exception to the areas that curb and gutters are placed.

  • Once the curb and gutter are placed, residents will need to park either in the road or possibly in a neighbor's driveway that is not affected by the curb and gutter. We will close the driveways until proper strength has been achieved on the concrete curb and gutter, usually 4 to 5 days. We will then remove the cones/barricades from in front of your driveway and fill in the void so that you can again utilize your driveway during the construction process.

  • We will provide a notice to the residents prior to closing your driveway by placing a Notice on either your front door or attached to your mailbox. This will allow for residents to plan access to their residences.

  • We will continue to provide updates to the residents so that you can plan travel throughout the subdivision, inconveniences, etc.

  • In the areas that work is taking place, you may have to wait 5 minutes while they complete their task at hand or can move the equipment to allow vehicles to safely proceed. If you encounter a work area which will involve delayed travel, you will be greeted by a flagger or staff which will communicate with you as to your delay.

  • We will not close any roads during the work that is planned for the next couple of weeks. There will be road closures during the HMA and FDR paving process which will occur at a later date and proper notice, +/- 2 weeks, will be given to the residents.

  • Please be assured that we are trying to eliminate the inconveniences that residents incur but are also working with limited space in a fully developed subdivision.

We look forward to completing this project ahead of schedule and the residents enjoying their new and smooth roads.

Please see the 2-week schedule below which is dependent on weather delays. There are weather events forecasted for 3 days this week which may affect this schedule.

Thank You in advance for your patience and understanding.
