Paving to Commence

‍ ‍

The HMA paving operation is to start on Friday morning.

‍ ‍

Please see the color coded/highlighted map that was previously posted for the day that your road will be paved.

Your vehicles needed to be removed from your driveway by 6:30 AM or else you will not be able to get out until Saturday morning.

The contractor will be providing transportation via golf cart to the elementary school parking lot. Please see the contact number below. If you do park on the side of the road, a street that is not being paved, which is not recommended, please park way off the road and not within 300' of an intersection. There will be lots of large trucks and equipment which need room to navigate the narrow roadways and be able to turn around, back up, etc... The more room we have, the easier it is for us to work and the quicker we can get the road paved which means less inconvenience for you as residents. This also eliminates the possibility of your vehicle being hit by equipment and trucks or other residents' vehicles.

‍ ‍

The roads being paved on Friday will be reopened on Saturday morning depending on weather temperatures, production, etc.... We will place caution tape and cones across the roads to close them. We will remove these items when the roads are ready to be  traversed.

Please do not allow children, pets, nor yourself to walk on the new HMA until we have opened the roads for vehicular use. The HMA is placed at 400 degrees and is sticky which will quickly burn bare feet and animal's paws along with melt shoe soles.

‍ ‍

Please us extreme caution when driving through the subdivision during the all construction operations. Yesterday I witnessed multiple residents driving at excessive speeds throughout the subdivision. Please be mindful this is a Construction Zone and the people working have families/children that they want to see at the end of the work day.

‍If it rains on Friday, we will be delayed a day and will follow up with an additional post for the website.

‍ Residents on Stoneleigh also received notifications regarding work that will take place on Saturday. Please have your vehicles out of the driveway by 7:30 AM until 7:00 PM. Be sure to review the information regarding Monday and Tuesday operation of next week on Stoneleigh Road. We will close the road at 6:30 AM until Tuesday evening. We will remove the cones and caution tape when the road is ready to traversed by vehicular traffic on Tuesday evening.

‍You will not want to drive on nor through the cement that is being placed on and in Stoneleigh Road on Monday and Tuesday. Traversing through cement with your vehicle is not suggested nor advised!

‍ Please encourage your neighbors and friends to follow this website and the posts. I have spoken to numerous residents over the past couple of days and many were not aware of this website. This is a great way to stay in the know, especially with the paving operations starting and continuing throughout the remainder of the project/construction. There will be many road closures, overnight, coming in the near future.

When you receive notice that your road will be closed and you will not have vehicular access to your driveway; this is a good time to get shopping done, go to appointments, etc... ahead of the road closures.

‍IMPORTANT NOTE:

EMERGENCY VEHICLES WILL have access at all times and at any detriment to the paving operation. Someone's life/dwelling is considerably more important than any road; we can always fix the road!

GOLF CART request Number is 248.638.3190

We appreciate your cooperation and patience as work continues to provide you beautiful new roads throughout the subdivision.

‍Thank you. Have a good rest of your day and week.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.
